GUEST SPEAKER: REV. FR. JOSEPH CHALMERS O.CARM

Fr Joseph studied law at Glasgow University before becoming a Carmelite. His ministry has focused on spirituality before being elected Prior general of the Carmelite Order. After 12 years in Rome he has now returned to Britain .

He has been involved with Contemplative Outreach since 1989 and is co-author with Elizabeth Smith of the book, "a deeper Love", .an introduction to Centering Prayer

After 12 years as Prior General he returns to ministry in Britain . He has been connected with Contemplative Outreach since 1989 .He is co-author with Elizabeth Smith of the book "A Deeper Love", an Introduction to Centering Prayer.
